Supper club and hidden location in Santos, Lisboa. As suggested by the brand name ‘San•tu•á•ri•o’ (“shrine”, in Portuguese, a holy place associated with a sacred person or object).
Santuário is a magical place and it is dedicated to foodies, creative people and curious minds to gathering together.
Client: Santuário, Lisbon (PT)
Project: Santuário – Brand identity
Main responsibilities and activities I was in charge of:
Brand strategy: analysis about the competitive scenario and research around current or upcoming trends in the related market. The project proceeded by identifying brand’s purpose and naming, followed by strategic planning for the brand positioning.
Naming: brand name ‘San•tu•á•ri•o’ (“shrine”, in Portuguese). For the brand strategy proposal, I defined a positioning statement inspired by the atmosphere that the word Santuário itself suggests. I also included a related pay-off: the call to action ‘What is sacred to you?’.
Art direction: responsible for directing the creative process, from the concept development to the execution of the visual brand identity. I led a multidisciplinary team of people with different tasks and responsibilities.
Visual brand identity: the brand name, ‘Santuário’, inspired the look of the whole identity. Wich included: logo design, typographic treatment, color palette, brand image language, basic stationary, corporate and marketing assets.
