Sailsquare – Brand identity

Social network, dedicated to sailors and seafarings. On Sailsquare online platform, you can create your own crew, inviting people within the sailing community to join your team. You can either take part of sailing journeys already launched.

Main responsibilities and activities I was in charge of:

Art direction: responsible for directing the creative process, from the concept to the final delivery.
 

Inspirations: for the brand proposal, I designed a visual identity inspired by the two natural elements involved in sailing: “wind” (for its movements, shapes) and “water” (for its colors, patterns).
 

Visual brand identity: logo design, typographic treatment, color palette, brand image language, basic stationary, brand manual featuring visual guidelines.
 

Online branding: creativity and design of visual layouts, to be consistent with the overall aesthetic of the brand, across company’s digital channels.
